NDA

National Defence Academy is the Academy which is placed in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra. NDA is a joint training academy where all three armed forces services i.e. Indian Military Service, Indian Naval Service and Indian Air Force Service candidates trained together. Candidates who clear NDA Exam successfully got training together for Army, Navy and Air Force here before they go to respective any of these three fields.

NDA Exam

NDA Written Exam date has been declared by UPSC which is conducting on 18/04/2021. NDA exam is conducted twice in every year by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for selection of Indian Armed Officers in Indian Defence Forces. The second exam will conduct in month of September this 2021 year. NDA Exam is one of the most famous and toughest exams conducted in India. Over more than 4lakh plus students apply for NDA exam every year for just 480 seats, so now you can think the level and craze between the aspirants for NDA exam.

Qualification

After completing/appearing 10+2 exam with main subjects of English and Mathematics from recognized board you can appear for the NDA Exam. The candidate should be unmarried male also with Indian nationality.

 

Age Limit

The age limit of Candidate should be in between 16.5-19.5 years only. NDA Exam is conducted for boys only. Girls can’t apply for this exam.

 

Written Exam

Mathematics 300 Marks with time duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes

English + General Knowledge 600 Marks time duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes

 

SSB Interview Round

After clearing NDA Exam there is SSB (Services Selection Board) round conducted, where interview has been taken by Service Selection Board team. In SSB round the board members check the mental ability of the candidate. They put candidate in many different situations and check how they will react to that condition. Basically SSB round is a round where your mental ability has been checked.

 

Medical Test

After the candidate has been selected by the SSB, then the Medical Test of the candidate has been taken to measure his body fitness according to the Academy Standards. If you have no body fitness matching standard as set by the academy, than you can’t join NDA Academy. So you have to work on your body fitness also, side by side during or after the NDA exam.
